Construction of the Dry Fork Station is almost 90 percent complete. The project as a whole, including engineering, procurement and construction, is about 92 percent complete (video).

June: More than 4,450,000 manhours worked without a lost-time accident

March: the Wyoming Supreme Court affirms the air permit for Dry Fork Station.

February: electricity was successfully backfed into the Dry Fork Station for the first time.

More than 3,300,000 man-hours have been worked at DFS without a lost-time accident.
2009
- Dressing out RAT and GSU transformers
- Last heavy lift for the AQCS building was August 27
- Final piece of structural steel set in place on June 24
- Steam drum lifted and attached to boiler March 22
- First siding installed in March
- Generator loader arrived at site in January

2006 - 2008

As of July 2010, installation of the conveyor covers for CV-A & CV-B and the Final 25 ACC Fan Motors was completed. Construction of the Service Building Elevator was finished. To date, more than 95,000 cubic feet of concrete has been been placed. HVAC and fire protection system installations as well as various startup and commissioning activities are also moving forward. Work continued on construction of the steam turbine/generator and the AQCS and Waste Ash Silo, coal handling system, and installing and welding critical and BOP piping. .
