Clean power plants
In 1997, former senior vice president of Operations & Engineering, Rich Fockler, reflected on a 35-year Basin Electric tradition of maintaining power plants at optimum levels of industrial hygiene and performance maintenance.
He said, “If you drop your sandwich on the turbine bay floor at any of our power plants, you can pick it up and eat it.”
No complaints
"After touring this plant, and seeing what's required to produce and deliver electricity to my house, I'll never again complain about my electric bill."
~Iowa electric cooperative consumer
