William Lewis “Bill” Guy was the governor of North Dakota when Basin Electric was incorporated and during its early years (1961-1973). He was employed by Basin Electric as a resource consultant from 1979-1985, and served as a director of subsidiary Dakota Gasification Company (DGC) from 1988-2000.
The documentary is a presentation of The Dakota Institute of the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation and Prairie Public Broadcasting. The premiere is free and open to the public.
Premiere schedule: June 15 - Fargo Theatre, Fargo, ND, 7 p.m. and June 22 - Belle Mehus Auditorium, Bismarck, ND, 7 p.m.
